Member spotlight: Meet Hayley, and find out why she loves She Moves and why it isn’t just for mums

Our members do incredible things and we want to share them with you! She Moves trainer Nic sat down with member Hayley and discussed what she loves about She Moves, how our classes and programmes have advanced her fitness and what she is learning for her future self

Tell us all a little about who Hayley is.

I am Hayley and I live in the Waikato working in Health and Safety, I also have a little side hustle of photography, however, my dream is to do this full time one day… my big dream is to hopefully become a mum one day.

How did you hear about She Moves? Of all the gyms and other online fitness programmes what drew you to She Moves?

I heard about She Moves from a friend during the start of the first lockdown, and I really got into it. I loved that I could do all the workouts from home. The biggest thing that has made me stay a She Moves member is the community, it is such a safe space and so encouraging. I love that there is so much variety in the timetable, you can access the classes live or on-demand and that I have ongoing support from Ren, Jen and the team, its incredible.

You had a 1:1 consultation but it wasn’t pregnancy or PP related can you share a  little bit about what you were after?

I started playing football again last year, and I really wanted a specific plan to help me work on rebuilding my fitness and to work on my agility. Nic did a plan that was specific to my field position and I love that I now have the videos and tools to look back on going back into pre-season this year. I have also purchased and completed the 10km running programme. So if you are after something specific or wanting to mix up your training I highly recommend these programmes.

You are currently not pregnant or on a postpartum journey how do you find the She Moves workouts? Would you recommend to others who are just looking for a general fitness programme?

100%, I tell everyone about the She Moves programme, I even drop it into conversation with strangers! I have found that even though I am not pregnant or postpartum (yet) the knowledge that I am gaining about the pelvic floor and core and how to activate them during exercise and in our workouts from being inside the She Moves community is in valuable.

Lastly Hayley what is your Favourite she moves workout and are you team live or team replay?

I am loving She Lifts at the moment, and I am a #teamlive girl. I find I am more motivated to get on my mat when I know the trainer is there live with the other members of the community and also they are working out with me! I am also lucky enough to attend the girl’s Bootcamp that they run here in town and can’t wait to get back into the classes!

It was so lovely talking to Hayley and hearing about how much she loves the She Moves programme and the knowledge she is gaining with being a member, keep up the awesome work Hayley!
